[edit] Userboxes

I changed the layout of the userboxes on your userpage to a table format which is more manageable. — Nathan (talk) / 02:22, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

  • You're welcome.
  • Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also push the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! — Nathan (talk) / 15:18, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Infobox University

I undid your change to {{Infobox University}}, as it is used in a lot of university articles, and removing that comma will break a number of them. The college is technically in the Dublin Region, so I put that for a region/province/state in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland article. We can do some tricks to make it look right w/o the Dublin Region part, while not breaking the template for articles, if you like. Let me know. --Kevin_b_er 03:27, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Got it. Couldn't fix the university article, so I just went in and fixed the template. state and province are now optional parameters, and the comma only appears when you actually use either of those optional parameters. Kevin_b_er 07:01, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Userboxes

I'm not an administrator, but userboxes are usually just templates. Though there's controversy surrounding userboxes. Check out WP:GUS for current instructions on creating userboxes. Alternatively; you could also copy another userbox's code and modify it for your userpage. Kevin_b_er 20:42, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You are confusing me with someone else

I'm Allen Timothy Chang of the Class of 1994. I went to Berkeley only as a graduate student. I do know there is an Allen Chang of the Class of 2000 who went to UC Berkeley as an undergraduate. (Don't worry: there's so many Allen Changs who have gone to Berkeley). Allentchang 13:28, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
