Profile
Hi, my name is Remy Suen and I am an undergraduate studying at the University of Waterloo. My main interests are programming, watching Japanese animations, and listening to music. My blog can be found here.
Programming
The programming language that I am most familiar with is Java. The main tools I use for programming are Eclipse and Vim. My primary operating system is Gentoo Linux, but my Fujitsu notebook is also capable of booting Windows XP. I also have great interests in Haiku, which is an open source project that is working to recreate BeOS.
I am actively involved in the open source community and am currently a committer for the Java-GNOME project. I am also hoping to become a permanent committer to the Eclipse project after Google's Summer of Code program has ended. I am currently working on an implementation of the BitTorrent protocol for the Eclipse Communication Framework project.
Anime
Currently, I am watching the series listed below:
- Ah! My Goddess
- ARIA The NATURAL
- BLOOD+
- Ergo Proxy
- School Rumble
- Strawberry Panic!

The pages I have listed below are some of the pages that I am monitoring closely and/or making updates to on a somewhat regular basis. They are merely a subset of my watchlist, that list is too large and has pages tacked on too frequently for me to directly copy and paste that page here.
If anyone would like to collaborate on reorganization of information and the likes and are looking for help, let me know on my talk page and I will try and find some time to assist with the endeavour. :)
