Rcap

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The RCAP2 is a Remote Control AutoPilot for model airplanes, cars and boats. The autopilot function can be switched off or on during flight with the flick of a switch. For it to function, a NMEA capable GPS (with programmable goto/waypoints functions) must be connected to the serial input port of the RCAP2. Currently (April 2006) RCAP2 does only support waypoint navigation. Altitude-hold is being worked on, but not yet implemented.
