Razor (real name Jake Clawson) is a fictional character of SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron.

He is the main star of the cartoon, along with his partner and best friend Chance "T-Bone" Furlong.
Razor's real name is Jake Clawson (although his surname was never mentioned in the show). He was Chance's partner while they were in the Enforcers. After they crashed their plane into the Enforcer Headquarters, they were discharged and forced to work on the salvage yard as mechanics to pay for the cost of the wrecked aircraft. Jake was the one who came up with the idea of creating their own jet, and going as masked crime-fighting vigilantes.
Razor is mechanical whiz of the duo. He can build any machine or gadget out of found parts in the salvage yard. He is the designer of the SWAT Kats' fighter jet (the Turbokat), and the inventor of their entire arsenal. He is also an impressive marksman, and almost always hits the target no matter how far the target is. And even though he is technical expert and smaller one of the duo, Razor possess great strength and martial art skills.
The cartoon series didn't go deeply into illustrating the psychology of the characters, but from what was shown in the cartoon we can assume that Jake is the meeker one -- a little shy, quiet, and mildly a pacifist. Despite that, Jake Clawson likes to tease his good friend Chance and enjoys a light-hearted rivalry with him. In one episode, we see that one of Razor's distracting weaknesses as a crime-fighter, is a terrible (yet a positive) fear from hurting innocent people.
