- Delete. I didn't see anything notable there. Average Earthman 09:11, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Not notable. But at least the submitter did try to provide some facts specific to the school. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 16:29, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Not notable. Regardless of how well the article may be written. --Improv 20:24, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, not really close to being well writen compared to other non-notable schools anyway. This does not set a precedent, they should be case-by-case. Cool Hand Luke 06:35, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Thought there might be something worth expanding on the race relations history, but looking at the links on the article this issue to the whole district rather than this school. School on its own seems non-notable. MarkS 20:50, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- The school was very big in the news here. People are still protesting the bussing decision (which was recently reversed), and there was a federal lawsuit over it. Keep. anthony (see warning) 15:16, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I have to side with anthony this time. The desegregation controversy is notable. — Gwalla | Talk 23:50, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. looks notable RustyCale 11:40, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Looks can be deceiving. The whole bussing thing wasn't restricted to this one school but all schools in the area, hence it doesn't gain notability from it. Chris 15:10, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- That's quite misleading. Only two schools were closed due to the original decision. In any case, VfD is not the place to argue over a title change. anthony (see warning) 16:18, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. And move to Blake Junior High School. [[User:Neutrality|Neutrality (hopefully!)]] 21:18, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)
- Looking at the votes here, and at Rhosnesni High School below, given that both articles are otherwise of equal value (both fairly normal, except for one local controversy which might have given national attention), the final action for both should be the same. Either keep both, or move both to a page about the controversy, in this case, Tampa bussing controversy. PS - someone needs to clarify the use of "unitary" here. Chris 02:50, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Please clarify
Someone needs to explain what "unitary" means in this context. I can't figure it out from the links here, nor my own understanding of the word "unitary". Chris 03:57, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)
