Raymond David Hughes, from Mold, north Wales, made propaganda broadcasts in Welsh for the Nazis during World War II.

He was an RAF airman, and his plane was shot down over Germany. He was approached as a prisoner of war, and agreed to speak in Welsh on the German Radio Metropole network during 1943.

He has been likened to the infamous Lord Haw Haw because of these broadcasts.
