Ray Von is one of many characters from the comic world of Peter Kay.

Ray Von is on the decks and demands for you to RAVE ON!!! He has appeared in the award winning show Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights.

Whenever Ray Von introduces himself, he shall always say that his name means RAVE ON! He got his job at The Phoenix when on the very grand opening of the club, there was a powercut. Ray told Brian Potter (the owner) that he had blown the fuse out because the club had too many lights. When he managed to fix it, Ray being a master engineer , Brian offered him a proposition he couldn't refuse, membership at the club. From then, Ray Von became the DJ at the Phoenix Club, killing the Sea Captain in the process with his outrageously loud music and his smoke machines.

Other workers,(Les and Alan) talked to Brian about him being a murderer and killing a Talent Trek champion called Tracy. They also talked about him being in prison for a life sentence. But in the end they were only lying, or at least half lying because Ray was once a con-man. Ray Von is chilled and is always up for a gig.
