Ray Aguilar

Ray Aguilar (b. 1947) is a Nebraska state senator in the Nebraska Legislature and self-employed in the commercial cleaning service business in Grand Island, Nebraska.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1947, in Grand Island, graduated from Grand Island Senior High School, and attended Central Community College. He is also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a former Grand Island City Council member.

He was appointed to the Nebraska Legislature to replace Chris Peterson had who resigned. He was then elected in 2000 to represent the 35th Nebraska legislative district and was reelected in 2004. He currently sits on the Judiciary and the Transportation and Telecommunications committees and the chairperson of the Intergovernmental Cooperation committee.
