RAW (unbleached vegan rolling paper)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
RAW is a common brand of cigarette rolling paper. It uses unbleached fibers, resulting in a thin, brown translucent paper. Recently it was awarded the most innovative RYO (roll-your-own, referring to cigarettes) product in its category by a tobacco trade magazine.
RYO is popular as a cost-saving measure, as self-rolled cigarettes have a lower unit cost than commercially-rolled cigarettes. [ryomagazine.com] In countries such as Brazil, natural product rolling papers are very popular[ryomagazine.com], and many people use corn husks to roll their cigarettes. RAW-type papers are marketed to these smokers as being a "natural" product, while also being more convenient to use.
