Thanks for the corrections. Re. the line

While Don Bosco was not traditionally a major force in schools cricket, the RA Podar college, which Shastri later joined for a degree course in Commerce, was a major supplier of Bombay's cricketing talent.

In the interview he says that joined Podar because he wanted to study commerce, and at a later point that he was in the last year at the junior college when he played first class cricket. He was just 17 then.

I guess this means that he took the commerce group for the 11th and 12th classes and did not actually do a B.Com. (In some states, you can do 11 and 12 in colleges. I guess Mumbai is/was one of them).

What do you think ?

Reads very well, only minor quirk I have is that you've switched between surnames (such as Tendulkar and Marshall) and full names, such as Gilbert Jessop. While cricket aficionados would probably immediately attach a first name to the surname, I think - for the benefit of everyone who reads the article - it would be suitable to use the same practice throughout, preferably full names. Oh, and the county bit needs expansion, but you know that. Otherwise, very well done! Sam Vimes 15:48, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
