[edit] Image:2004_Vatican_City_2_Euro_.jpg
Just to let you know, I changed the licencing (as there was no rationale provided for fair use as is requested) of the above image to Template:money-EU. Although the Vatican City isn't in the EU, the euro and its copyright status is controlled by an EU institution (the ECB). Just to let you know this is the template:
The image above depicts a unit of currency issued by the European Central Bank (ECB). This design is copyrighted by the ECB, and its use is permitted by ECB, "as long as reproductions in advertising or illustrations cannot be mistaken for genuine banknotes". [1] |
I know it says banknotes, but its whats used for all the other euro coins, and the same licencing terms are used by the ECB for coins - RedHot 21:25, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- I just removed [[Category:Euro images]] which was part of the template included above. This was done to take this page out of the category. Ingrid 23:13, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
