Rasul Sadr Ameli

Rasul Sadr Aameli (in Persian: رسول صدر عاملی), Director, Screenwriter, Film Producer, Born 1953, Sepahan, Iran. Made his directorial debut, 'The Liberation' in 1982 after a decade journalism. In nearly all his films, he's fascinated by family melodrama. His 'The Chrysanthemums' (1984), was one of the top grossing films of the year. Sadr-Ameli won the award of Best Director at 20th Fajr Intl. Film Festival for "I, Taraneh, Am 15", as well as the award of Best Script (as co-writer).
