I work for the Harvard College Libraries. I stand by the door and deter booknappers. I am the guy by the door. I am the publisher, editor, writer, and photographer of the guy by the door blog.

I live near the Strand Theater in Uphams Corner, Dorchester, Massachusetts the largest neighnorhood of Boston, United States of America, North America, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way, Local Group.

My previous residence was the YMCA in Central Sq. Cambridge, "MA,...".

I was one of the early workers in experimental chaos. I got my Ph.D from the edge of hell.

When I was a little guy I was afraid of The spider under the bed. Now I'm afraid of homo sapiens' self extinction.
