Wikipedians still not seem to understand the Arabic names. Hussein is not a surname. Traditionally, Arabs don't have surnames, a name consists of the personal name + the father's personal name + the grandfather's name etc. So Saddam's daughter's name is not Rana Hussein but Rana Saddam, or Rana Saddam Hussein. What? I never heard that before. I, for one, and so do all of those that I know, do have a surname. In fact, Arabs historically put a great deal of consideration to their surname, which define their tribes! Please read more about this. -- Eagleamn 18:00, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
What Alensha said is correct. You can see the information about it on Wikipedia if you look at the articles titled "Pakistani name" and "Arabic name"
The last paragraph of the second one is probably where you would see the information best although the first one has a little chart if you're a visual person. The article's title should probably be changed to "Rana Saddam" with a redirect from "Rana Hussein" and a reference of some sort within the article. I am new to editing, so I would prefer if someone else did this if there are no objections. Kiega 05:10, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
