Ransom Notes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ransom Notes is the first coed collegiate a cappella group at the University of Chicago. They were founded in 1997 as Harmony 8, renamed Harmony X to reflect changing membership numbers before settling on the current name in 2002.
They sing a diverse repertoire ranging from 16th century counterpoint to Pink Floyd medleys to Beach Boys classics to modern pop hits of Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne.
