Randy Wittman

Randy Scott Wittman (born October 28, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is a former professional basketball player and coach. A 6'6" guard, Wittman played college basketball at Indiana University, and was selected by the Washington Bullets with the 22nd pick of the 1983 NBA Draft. However, he never played for the Bullets; instead, over a nine-year NBA career, he played for the Atlanta Hawks, the Sacramento Kings, and the Indiana Pacers.
Wittman served as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers for two seasons, from 1999 to 2001. According to published rumors, Randy Wittman was once considered for the head basketball coaching position at Indiana University, that eventually went to Kelvin Sampson.
