[edit] Synopsis

To cross another item off his list, Earl has to get his brother Randy the football touchdown that he took away from him in high school. Earl had originally bet on the team to lose and made Randy help him by throwing the game, depriving his brother the chance to experience the glory of scoring a touchdown. To right his wrong, Earl uses the "fake father" from the previous episode to enroll him into the school with the worst record in the State, while Joy arranges for Earl's car to be towed out of spite, not realizing that's were Earl keeps his lotto winnings. When she realizes this, she attempts (and fails) to get a $3000 loan, while Earl and Randy break into the impound, but get electrocuted. Joy sells her possessions, but she still falls $1500 short. Spotting a hobo's trolley, she cashes in the cans, but only gets $8, but discovers she can use the railings in the central reservation to sell as scrap. Meanwhile, Earl, Randy and Kenny use a proverbial trojan horse to break in, but backfires when the aftershave Kenny wears attracts the guard dogs at the impound. At the game, Randy throws the game for a $3000 bet, and gets the car back. Meanwhile, Kenny gets a new partner, and Joy and Darnell crash into the ditch caused by her removing the railings earlier.

[edit] Quotes

  • Earl: Where's my car, Joy?
Joy: Oh, I had it towed.
    Earl: Towed?
Joy: Yeah. Maybe if you gave me some of that lotto money, I'd back off!
Earl: (voiceover) It was at that moment I realized Joy had no idea that the money was in the car.
Randy: Hey, Earl! Joy had no idea all your lotto money was in the car!
  • Randy: You sure you wanna get grandpa's cuckoo clock back? That thing nearly put my eye out.
Earl: Well, you shouldn't have stood so close. You knew what time it was.
