Randi McFarland is a fictional character from Highlander: The Series, portrayed by actress Amanda Wyss.
She was part of the starring cast in the early first season when the action took place in the fictional city of Seacouver, disappearing completely when the action moved to Paris. She wouldn't appear in later seasons. Her role in the series was of the lead character in season 1's plot of the police and media checking out Duncan MacLeod's past. Accompanying her was a list of police officers that never lasted more than three episodes.

Randi was an annoying Seacouver TV reporter, who was always bothering Duncan MacLeod, Tessa Noël and Richie Ryan about the mysterious events surrounding the life of Duncan MacLeod. She never figured who Duncan really was, thinking Duncan to be part of a secret military organization. More than often, Duncan had to keep Randi from running into trouble. When Duncan, Tessa and Richie moved from Seacouver to Paris in 1993, Randi lost contact of the trio and the opportunity for the story of a lifetime.
