Randa is a town in Valais, Switzerland.
Randa, 1,409 meters above sea level, is a pleasant Valaisan village. Situated in the middle of lush green meadows, surrounded by fragrant larch forests, the pretty, friendly village lies in the romantic Zermatt valley. Towered over by the famous four-thousand-meter mountains of the southern Valaisan Alps, Randa is conveniently reachable by train or car and is only 15 minutes by train from the world-famous Zermatt. It is a typical mountain village with atmosphere and is to be recommended for adventurous vacations in both the summer and the winter.
