Rand, Colorado

Rand is a small unincorporated community in southern Jackson County, Colorado in the United States. A ranching community at the southern end of North Park south of Walden, it consists of several homes, businesses, a post office, and ranching facilities. It lies near the junction of Colorado State Highway 125 and Jackson County Road 27 along Indian Creek. This town is at an elevation of 8627 feet (2630 meters) and was established in 1881. It received a post office in 1883 and the first postmaster was Jack Rand.
