Rana Udaybhanu Singh

Rana Udaybhanu Singh (born 1893, died 1954) was the Jat ruler of Dholpur state (1911 - 1948) in Rajasthan, India. He was from Bamraulia gotra of Jats. He was born on 12th December 1893 and succeeded Rana Ram Singh in 1911 after his death. He was younger brother of Rana Ram Singh, who had no issue. He got full rights on 9 October 1913.
He married in 1911 with Malvender Kaur, the daughter of the Rais of Badrukhan (Jind) and had issue. He was educated at Mayo College, Ajmer; later joined the Imperial Cadet Corps at Dehradun. He received G.C.I.E. [cr.1931], K.C.S.I. [cr.1918], K.C.V.O. [cr.1922. He was Honorary Colonel of 1/143rd Narsingh (Dholpur) Infantry.

He was the last ruler of Dholpur. After India's independence in 1947, Maharaj Rana Udaybhan Singh acceded unto the Union of India on 7 April 1949. Dholpur was merged with three neighbouring states to form the Matsya union within the union of India, and was later merged with several other such unions to form the present-day state of Rajasthan.
He died on 22nd October 1954.
