Rana Naved-ul-Hasan (b. February 28, 1978 in Sheikhupura, Punjab) is a cricketer who plays for the Pakistani Test and one-day international teams and for Sussex County Cricket Club in England.
A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Naved-ul-Hasan made his international debut in Sharjah immediately after the disastrous 2003 world cup.
As of June 27, 2005, he is an important member of the ODI team, with 55 wickets at the good bowling average of 24.60. He has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Test side as he competes with the likes of Shoaib Akhtar for a place in the side. Naved-ul-Hasan has also played for several Pakistani and English club teams. Since June 2005 he has played English county cricket for Sussex, where he has formed an effective partnership with fellow Pakistani bowler Mushtaq Ahmed.
