The new Sholay is a whole new film. The main story is the same, but the treatment will be very modern and urban. I am removing the 'merge with old Sholay' notice. The old Sholay talk page clearly states there are no intentions of merging. Anagha 22:27, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Is the proposed cast of the new Sholay good enough? Can it be better! Like:
- Veeru - Akshay Kumar or Aamir Khan
- Jai - ajay devgan
- Basanti - Rani Mukherjee or Preeti Zinta
- Radha - Vidya Balan or Aishwarya Rai
- and some more suggestions....
