Talk:Ramón Emeterio Betances
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page needs references, plenty of them. Betances' life is way too interesting to just list a few facts... missing are the references to his medical work in France, his work as an ambassador on behalf of the Dominican Republic in Paris, and his probable link to the assasination of Spanish Prime Minister Antonio Canovas del Castillo. The Legion d'Honour alone deserves expansion. We'll work on this... but it will take a while to clean this up. Demf 04:11, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Demf, I agree with you, there are many things which can be added to the article of this great man and I'm sure that you will do it. The article as it is is still encyclopedic and does not need "clean-up". It is very organized and tells you the basics of Betances contributions. However, the article continues to be open for additional contributions and improvements as are every single article in the Pedia. The most important thing to remember that any addition made to any article, be verifiable on the web and not original research. Keep up your excellent work Demf.
