Ramirez gang
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ramirez Gang, a.k.a "The Filipino Unity", is a west coast street gang, mainly spread across California. They are composed of Filipino Americans. The gang was formed from former Vargas Gang members who opposed them since they weren't treated well and weren't respected; they wanted to be more independent from them. So as a result, the Ramirez gang has an intense rivalry with the Vargas Gang. They also have a deep hatred for the new gang from Texas, The Texas Flips. Flips is a slang word for Filipino, originated in Daly City, where Filipinos heavily populate the area and are known as Flips.
