Ramacca is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 140 km southeast of Palermo and about 35 km southwest of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,630 and an area of 305.8 km2.[1]
The municipality of Ramacca contains the frazione (subdivision) Libertinia.
Ramacca borders the following municipalities: Agira, Aidone, Assoro, Belpasso, Castel di Judica, Lentini, Mineo, Palagonia, Paternò, Raddusa.
