Ramón Maradiaga

Ramón Enrique Maradiaga Chávez (born October 30, 1954) is a retired Honduran football player. Currently, he is coach of CD Motagua.

Nicknamed 'Primitivo', Maradiaga has played as a midfielder amongst others for Motagua and he was part of the Honduras national football team that took part in the 1982 FIFA World Cup.

After his playing career ended, he has been rather succesfull as a coach. He had been in charge of the Guatemala national football team in recent years, but his contract was however terminated after they failed to reach the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification play-offs. He has also coached CD Victoria and the Honduras national football team.
