Rajiv Mehrotra

Rajiv Mehrotra is a journalist, biographer, essayist and author and the anchor of the program of "In Conversations", aired on one of the national TV stations in India, DoorDarshan TV, were he has interviewed more than 1,000 celebrities and world leaders.

Mehrotra was educated at the universities of Oxford and Columbia. and as an independent documentary filmmaker, he has won several international awards in addition to three national awards presented by the president of India. He is managing trustee of The Public Service Broadcasting Trust and secretary/trustee of The Foundation for Universal Responsibility of the Dalai Lama[1]. He is a trustee of the Indian Centre for Philanthropy and The Norbulingka Institute of Tibetan Culture, and has served on the governing councils of the Sri Aurobindo Society and the Film & Television Institute of India. He is also judge of the Templeton Prize for Spirituality, and was nominated a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum at Davos.
