Mr Rajiv de Silva, son of World famous Fukuoka award winning historian Prof Kingsley de Silva, was educated at the bastion of education in the island of Sri Lanka, Trinity College Kandy, till 1987. He was a Prefect at highschool and migrated to the USA to continue in his higher studies. He obtained a rare scholarship to the Ivy League Princeton University, New Jersey and obtained his Bsc in Civil Engineering. Next he obtained his second Bsc in Environmental Engineering from yet another top class universities in the USA, Stanford University, California. Next he proceeded to the best University known for Business majors and obtained his MBA from the university of Pensylvania, Pennsylvania.
He proceeded to work at McKenzies International the number one consultancy company in the USA, and todate is one of the Owner/Partners of McKenzies. Afterwards he joined Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Canada Inc and traveled to Europe as the Head of its European Market. He came back to USA for a breif period and then headed off to Canada as the CEO/President of Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Canada Inc. He is one of the, if not the youngest CEO in all the top companies in the USA. He continues to be the CEO/President of Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Canada Inc todate.
