Rajesh Roshan

Rajesh Roshan (born May 24, 1955 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India) is a Bollywood music composer.

He is the son of erstwile Bollywood composer Roshan and brother of film director and Actor Rakesh Roshan. His teacher was Faiyaz Khan. Rajesh Roshan had learnt music at a very young age.

He had a successful association with Basu Chatterjee, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar. He shot to fame with the score for Julie (1975 film) for which he won the Filmfare Best Music Director Award. He is the first music director who made superstar Amitabh Bachchan to sing. He usually composes music for the films that his brother either produced or directed.

He is also uncle to Hrithik Roshan
