Rajauri is a town and a notified area committee in Rajauri district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Rajauri had a population of 20,874. Males constitute 58% of the population and females 42%. Rajauri has an average literacy rate of 77%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 83%, and female literacy is 68%. In Rajauri, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
