Raj Comics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Raj Comics is an Indian publishing house which has been publishing comic books since 1984. It has produced close to 3000 comics till date.
The company focuses mainly on superhero-centric comic books, often inspired by Marvel or DC characters. The majority of their output is in the Hindi language, but a few titles and 'special editions' have been translated into English.
There is presently no Comics Code in India. It is largely upto the publisher to decide the suitability of the content for its readers. As Comics are still regarded as an exclusively child-oriented medium, sexuality and nudity are generally considered off-limits. However, comics do frequently depict graphic violence.
