I hadn't heard of this and I believed it to be an April Fools' joke. There is a rainbow cup under discussion but it is not this.

However this article [1] refers in passing to the tournament as descibed on this page. The article is dated August 2005 so it is not a wind up.GordyB 13:54, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
