[edit] Plot
Terri Fletcher, the main character, loves to sing. Her older brother is her inspiration and practically her best friend. Her father, though supportive, believes there are more important things in life than singing. On the way home from a Three Days Grace concert one night, which they snuck out of the house for, Terri and Paul Fletcher get in a car crash, and Paul is killed. She gives up her scholarship, and her dream of going to a popular L.A. music school. But later, when she starts to think that Paul would have wanted her to go (he was the one who made her admissions tape), she asks her father, who says 'absolutely not!'. Her mother decides otherwise and sends Terri off to go on vacation with her aunt. At least that's what they tell her father, as she goes to L.A. to achieve her dreams. While going to Bristol-Hillman Conservatory, Terri experiences difficulty fitting in and begins to like Jay. In the end, Terri overcomes her grief, singing a farewell to her brother in "Someone's Watching over Me," a song she composes with Jay. As the end credits roll the Hilary sings "Jericho."
