Raionul Floreşti

Raionul Floreşti is a district in northern Moldova, bordering Ukraine. Its seat is Floreşti. The other major cities are Ghindeşti and Mărculeşti. As of 1 January 2005, its population was 89,200. In Floresti, the PCRM received 54% of the votes in the 2005 national election.
