Rainer Seifert (born on December 10, 1947 in Wiesbaden) is a former field hockey player from Germany, who was a member of the West-German squad that won the golden medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. He played 122 international matches for West Germany, participated in two Hockey World Cup and four European Nations Cups. Seifert was a member of the Rüsselsheimer Ruder-Klubs, with whom he won eight club titles.
