Radio Economics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Radio Economics is a semi-weekly podcast show produced and hosted by economist James Reese from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Each episode features a 15 minute to an hour and a half interview with a prominent economist. Some notable guests have included Gang Fan, Paul Krugman, Jeffrey Sachs, and Atanu Dey. Topics range from traditional issues in macro and micro economics, popular issues with economic interpretations, and issues in academic economics and economic pedagogy. Guests typically discuss the qualitative implications of their research and provide analysis of current economic trends. Though the show has an academic bent, it remains accessible to the non-economist.
