Radio City (India radio station)

Radio City is a FM radio station in India. It broadcasts on 91.1 megahertz from Mumbai (where it was first started in 2004), Bengalooru (started in 2001), Lucknow and New Delhi. It plays Hindi songs, and occasionally regional songs. It used to play English songs before a lawsuit was filed against the company. But the station has started to play English songs again since 2005. It was launched in Hyderabad in March, 2006 and in Chennai on July 7th 2006.
Recently as of July,2006 it has announced plans to invest Rs. 700 to 800 million in the current fiscal year to set up 16 FM (Frequency Modulation) stations across India.
The Chief Executive Officer is Ms Apurva Purohit
