Rad Mobile (1990) was a very fast race-driving arcade game released by Sega under its Sega System 32 platform. It was the first 32-bit game ever released by Sega. The player would engage into a non-stop road race across the USA. The game featured weather effects, like rain, fog and night, for which the player should answer by turning on the headlights and the windscreen wiper. Most of the arcade cabinets had a left-right movement effect.

The game also featured a cute Sonic air freshener hanging on the rear mirror. It was the first time that Sonic ever appeared in a video game.

In the 1992 comedy Encino Man, Brendan Fraser's character Link loves to play Rad Mobile, so much so that when he takes a road test he speeds and drives wildly.

The other unique thing about Rad Mobile was that throughout the entire game, all of the cars on the road made the same exact moves. Whereas in most racing video games the other cars move randomly, in Rad Mobile the moves could be predicted anywhere in the game at any time.

Rad Mobile's cabinet, as well as the in-game car resembles a Porsche 959.
