Rachuonyo District

Rachuonyo District is an administrative district in the Nyanza Province of Kenya. Its capital town is Oyugis. The district has a population of 307,126 (1999 census) and an area of 945 km² [1].
The district has three local authorities: Oyugis town council, Kendu Bay town council and Rachuonyo county council.
Rachuonyo district is divided into four administrative divisions: Rachuonyo, East Karachuonyo, Kasipul and Kabondo.
The district has two constituencies: Kasipul Kabondodo and Karachuonyo.
