Race baiter

Race baiter is a derogatory term applied to an individual who "plays the race card" by claiming that everything negative that happens to them or other members of their respective racial or ethnic group is the direct result of oppressive racism. This term generally has very negative connotations in that it often tries to indicate that the person so-labeled is dishonest, arrogant, disingenuous and racist themselves.

In political terms, someone seen as a race baiter views all social, civil, legal, and criminal matters in terms of continuing racial oppression of their respective group and places all discussion of those subjects in those terms.
