RaboPlus

RaboPlus is the brand name for Rabobank, a New Zealand online bank. As of February 2006, it has one of the highest interest rates for on-call savings account in New Zealand. It is the only bank in New Zealand to be rated AAA/A-1+ by Standard & Poor's and Aaa by Moody's. The money invested is used in the New Zealand rural sector.
The bank advertises to customers as "Your significant other bank". It offers online on call savings accounts to customers, but does not offer chequing accounts. Customers are expected to use other banks for day to day banking activities, and use a direct debit to deposit money. Since it opened it has gathered over $500 million in deposits (as of August 2006)[1].
The bank also offers term deposits and investments to its customers.
