Rabiu Kwankwaso

Rabiu Kwankwaso is a prominent Nigerian politician.

He served as the governor of the northern Nigerian state of Kano. He flew the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party. His 2003 bid to serve for a second term was unsuccelssful. He was the appointed as the Minister of Defence in President Obasanjo's cabinet in 2003.
