Rabbit Junk is the one man project of JP Anderson (known from the underground digital hardcore band The Shizit). Taking familiar influences into unfamiliar territory, Anderson melds Digital Hardcore, Industrial, Punk, Metal and 80s new wave into a new sound he calls Hardclash. The band released their self-titled first album Rabbit Junk in 1998, which showcased a harder sound than The Shizit. In 2005, the band released the followup REframe, which showcases even heavier sound and influences from different styles such as Black Metal and Japanese Punk-Techno-Metal band The Mad Capsule Markets.
On August, 30th Rabbit Junk contributed the song "Industrial IS Dead" to the Glitch Mode contemplation CD Hordes of the Elite. The song expresses the band's dislike of the current industrial scene, industrial/goth fashion(labeling it as "Halloween stuck in 93'"), and the club Noc Noc in Seattle. Recently another new tune has appeared which is a blistering cover of Atari Teenage Riot's Start The Riot, which will be appearing on a D-Trash Records Atari Teenage Riot tribute album.
