"Rabbit Face" is the debut episode of The Emperor's New School.

Coach Sweti refuses to accept Kuzco's latest faked doctor's note, forcing him to run - and win, even against the athletic Kronk - a cross-country race to avoid failing the class, and losing his position as emperor. Everyone seems to believe that Kronk will win hands-down, including Malina, Chaca and Tipo, and two old men that Kuzco encounters. Even so, Yzma decides to disadvantage Kuzco all she can.

After an obvious attempt by Kronk to intimidate Kuzco, Pacha and his family help him with some training. Yzma decides to up the ante and transform Kuzco; failing to select the Turtle potion as ordered, Kronk ends up turning Kuzco into a rabbit. Malina helps him to realise that he now has an advantage in the race.

Yzma attempts to booby-trap the race, however all she does is take the other contestants out of the running, allowing Kuzco to win. Before the rabbit potion wears off, Kuzco gets back at Yzma by leaving her some "presents" in her spinach puffs.

Kuzco: Malina? Well, (sarsactic) I guess you came here to laugh like everybody else "rabbit face" (laughs sarsastically)?

Kuzco: Malina, I haven't ask you to go with me on Friday.
Malina: Kuzco, have you seen yourself lately?

Kuzco: (after seeing as a rabbit) My beautiful face! I'm an ugly, stinkin' rabbit! Rabbit face! Not just my face, it's whole! I'm an ugly, stinkin' rabbit!

Kuzco: Yzma, the wrinkled ugly one! Okay, I added the wrinkled ugly one part.

Yzma: Once Kuzco fails school, I'll become empress. (laughs evily, then coughs before her dentures fall out)

Kronk: (After Yzma) Once Kuzco fails school, I will become...wait, what do I become?

UK Premiere: 24 March 2006
The first scene bears a strong resemblance to that of The Emperor's New Groove, in that Kuzco bemoans his transformation into an animal, and introduces the main players, which would then be expanded upon by the following story.
The training montage ends with Kuzco climbing the academy steps in a commonly-used parody of Rocky.
Kuzco's rabbit transformation is similar to Lampwick and Pinocchio turning into donkeys in the Disney animated feature.
Kuzco gets turned into: a rabbit.
"Pull the lever" gag: A giant stone arm smashes Yzma flat. Kronk and Yzma encounter a yeti-like creature during the rollercoaster ride.
"Kuzco's doodles": Kuzco gives a farcical rendition of Kronk selecting the wrong potion.
End credits & Bucky appears: A "blooper" has Malina holding a squirrel, implying she misheard the word "scroll". The squirrel is Bucky.
