Ra-Ankh-Eye of Horus is an Egyptian fraternity, started at Rose-Hulman in 2004. Though originally only located at Rose-Hulman, Ra-Ankh-Eye of Horus currently has chapters started or starting in ten colleges.

Started by Russell Muren as an alternative to the Greek fraternity system in 2004, Ra-Ankh-Eye of Horus was an example to college students everywhere of collegiate freedom. The first class dove into their fraternity and its general lack of rules. Rush was hugely successful in the next two years and enrollment soared!!! As more students found out about the pure bliss that is Ra-Ankh-Eye of Horus new chapters sprang up all over the nation. Now students from coast to coast are enjoying the wonders of Egyptian life!

[edit] Fraternity Philosophies:

Ra-Ankh-Eye of Horus was started in response to the infinite complexity and general lack of creativity in the fraternity system today. It was founded on the belief that anyone should be able to participate in fraternities at no cost. As a fraternity we believe that there should be no bureaucracy in social groups and we strive for total equality!!!!
