Raúl Tamudo Montero (born October 19, 1977 in Santa Coloma de Gramanet - Barcelona) is a Spanish football player, currently the captain for RCD Espanyol. His most frequent position is striker.
Tamudo was part of Spain's Silver Medal winning team at the 2000 Summer Olympics scoring a goal in the Semifinal match against the United States. Tamudo made two appearances for the Spanish national team during 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifying.
Tamudo has won two Spanish Cup (2000 and 2006), scoring one goal in one of them before to arrive at minute 10, being decisive for RCD Espanyol to win both games.
Recently, Raúl Tamudo has arrived at 100 goals in the Liga, being at this moment the major Catalan forward.
