[edit] Science

The R7 Quad was the first driver to feature Movable Weight Technology(Or MWT). MWT enables the golfer to assemble a series of four screws in the driver's head in order to choose the type of ball flight the player desires. The four movable weights are legally allowed to be changed in any fashion the player wishes prior to the round under USGA rules.

[edit] Popularity

The driver is the most popular driver in golf because it allows the player to choose how they want the ball to move after impact. This revolutionary creation allows players with a slice to scientifically correct the problem by altering the driver. The huge sales by this driver have brought other companies to use MWT, such as Walter Hagen Golf, and Macgregor. Other companies have developed drivers which have a preset corrective ball-flight such as Callaway (ERC Fusion).

[edit] Types

The current models from the R7 Quad branch include:

  • R7 Quad (Original)
  • R7 425 (Larger head size)
  • R7 460 (Largest head by rules of golf)
  • R5 Dual (Preset ball flight)
