R29 (New York City Subway car)

The R29 was a New York City Subway car built in 1962–63. After overhaul, the R29 fleet ran on the 2, 5 and 6 routes before retirement in 2002. The R29 fleet was the first fleet to be set up in permanant "catholic" marraiges. In all prior married pairs, mates could be freely swapped.
