The R-101 Delphinus is a fictional fighter and attacker series of aircraft appearing in Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. Nicknamed "Delphinus" (dolphin) presumably because of the aircraft's unique shape, they are very maneuverable and fast.

In Ace Combat 3, the R-100 series is Neucom Inc's flagship fighter line. The craft went through three iterations; the R-101, R-102, and R-103. All shared the common traits of a smooth shape with the primary wings mounted far back, canards (in the case of the R-103), and a single vertical tailrudder. Also unique to the series is the odd intake for the engines, a downward protrusion that almost resembles a mouth (in the case of the R-102 and R-103). As a result it is unlike any existing fighter planes.
The fighter was used by third parties; the R-101 was sold in large quantities to the UPEO (known locally as the R-101U) while many R-103s were stolen or manufactured by Ouroboros.
